We have had plans for getting a new deck.  The original deck was 10'x10'.  It was small given the slope of our yard.  We are contracting with Archadeck and having a 592sq ft, three tiered deck built out of tigerwood.  And undertaking, yeah.  Expensive, yeah.  But it'll be well worth it. They found out that I was allergic to everything on earth except for mold. I woke up to a phone call at 7am from my boss.  He said that he would wait till 11 am to make the verdict.  I crawled back in bed after the call.I woke up around 10 am and had a look outside.  There were small icicles on the trees.  The driveway and street were wet, but not frozen.  The backyard is where I saw the most evidence of the freeze. I also used Pimsleur's Swahili CD's over a year ago to learn Swahili.  Ironically enough, I haven't used Swahili in about a year now, and I still know quite a bit of it. It's not something I'm looking forward to, but I at least have to give it a try.  Hopefully it works for me. My nurse, B.J. Johnson (yes, that's her real name, I'm not kidding!!!), had me prop my feet, up, put a pillow on my lap, and lay both arms out, palms facing upwards.  She marked A, B, C, D, E, F on sections of my arm, from my elbow to my wrist. It was just going over the paperwork, doctor questioning me and whatnot.  Nothing too exciting.  I go in for the allergy prick and scratch test next Tues.  It'll be on the arm, not the back. The pearls are 10-11mm freshwater pearls, a little of a variety of colors -- white, very pale salmon, pink, purplish pink.  They are gorgeous!  Now I just have to string them up together. I went into a radiologist near the 38th St Med Center area in Austin.  They lubed my neck up and rotated the magic wand (aka the ultrasound thingie) all over my neck.  The lady couldn't tell me anything...she was just the wand girl.
